Introduction

This year marks the 35th year of bilateral relationship between Malaysia and China. Being one of the key investments and trading destinations of many Malaysian companies, China presents exciting opportunities, large untapped markets and inevitably, risks.

ACCA together with T. H. Kuan & Co. and China Business Advisory Limited is pleased to share with you a practical review in doing business in and with China. T. H. Kuan & Co has been granted a license by the Ministry of Finance of PR China to provide advisory services in China.

China Business Advisory Limited is an advisory arm incorporated in Hong Kong to provide professional services such as incorporation, corporate secretarial, accounting, audit and tax compliance, regional corporate planning in PR China and  Hong Kong.

Course Objective

The objectives of this talk include:
· To provide information and hands-on experience in setting up businesses in China

Mr Kuan Tong Heng, Group Managing Partner, T. H. Kuan & Co.

Mr Kuan has more than 20 years of extensive experience in audit, taxation and corporate consultancy. Mr Kuan has established track records in assisting clients from Malaysia and abroad in setting up businesses and expansion plan in PR China and Hong Kong.

Mr Eng Kim Huat, Chief Representative & Consultant for China Business Advisory Limited

Mr Eng is the consultant to a wide ranging clientele running businesses in PR China and Hong Kong. He has direct hands-on experience in China which includes incorporations, accounting, taxation, foreign currency administrations and other business-related areas.
