Members' services
ACCA Membership
Member Services offers counseling for affiliates to assist them to submit application for full membership. Member Services will be able to advise and assess the acceptability of the affiliates' practical experience during the counseling sessions. The Membership Application form will then be forwarded to the Qualification Committee in the United Kingdom for consideration to membership.
FCCA Membership
From 1 January 2002, ACCA fellowship (FCCA) will be available through an 'accelerated' scheme based on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements. The aims are to add value to the FCCA designation and to further underline ACCA's commitment to lifelong learning.
Fellow certificates are sent to ACCA Malaysia Office where certificates will be presented biannually in December and May. Fellow members who are not able to attend the reception will receive their certificates by post.
ACCA Graduation Ceremony
From the June 2002 examination session, ACCA Malaysia will organise graduation ceremonies in three towns, namely Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Kuching. In conjunction with the graduation ceremony, certificates and prizes will be awarded to the prizewinners for their excellent achievement.
Affiliate Orientation Programme
ACCA Malaysia will organise Affiliate Orientation Programme in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Kuching, Johor Bharu and Ipoh for new affiliates who have successfully completed all the ACCA professional examinations. The objectives of the orientation programme are to update affiliates of the progression in ACCA, train affiliates to maintain and fill up the STR records, and update affiliates of the latest development in ACCA.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
CPD training programmes are organized to ensure that accountants' skills are being upgraded and developed as a life-long learning process. These programmes ensure that Chartered Certified Accountants in Malaysia are up-to-date with the latest relevant professional and personal skills ACCA has developed the Professional Development Manual to help members plan their CPD effectively and to apply their learning outcomes to their practical working environment.
Student's Training Record (STR)
The STR explains ACCA's practical training requirements and how to document the work experience. It also contains all the forms that students and their supervisor(s) need to complete. It is designed to help ACCA students and affiliates focus on the development of technical and management skills that will enable them to meet ACCA's practical experience requirements for membership. The completion and review of the STR may also assist employers by encouraging students to consider how they can make greater contributions to the achievement of organization goals.

Member Services division provides support services to ACCA members and affiliates in Malaysia. Member Services is committed to the provision of considered, professional and timely services to members and affiliates. Members are welcome to inquire about membership admission, subscription fees, membership reinstatement, members' benefits, subscription and accelerated fellowship.
